Our Story & Philosophy

Bringing Humanity & Unhurried Time Back to Medicine

Where Our Story Begins: The Reason We Built New Hope

New Hope was founded by husband-and-wife physician team Dr. Zeshan Rajput and Dr. Nareesa Mohammed-Rajput, rooted in a shared conviction that primary care should feel more human.

After years spent inside large corporate hospital networks and federal policy advising, they saw how often care becomes rushed, fragmented, and impersonal. Patients feel unseen, treated like transactional encounters in an assembly line. Providers feel stretched thin behind screens. Somewhere along the way, the fundamental act of listening began to disappear.

“New Hope grew from a question we kept coming back to: What would healthcare look like if relationships truly came first?”

At New Hope, care begins with time. Time to talk, time to understand, and time to know the human being behind the chart. Visits are designed as meaningful conversations, not brief transactions. Relationships are built to last over decades, not reset with every appointment.

The name New Hope reflects both optimism and intention. Hope for a different experience for patients. Hope for a more sustainable, fulfilling way to practice medicine. And hope that care, when rooted in trust and genuine presence, can truly support people through every chapter of life.
